Memorial Walk Around Buttermere
Sunday, 23 April 2017 at 10.00am. Meet in Buttermere Car Park behind the Fish Inn.
Cruse Cumbria’s first Memorial Walk — 4.7 miles around the Buttermere Lake — is suitable for anyone who is reasonably fit.
We are hoping to raise a significant sum through the Memorial Walk to help Cumbria Cruse continue to provide a bereavement service for the people of Cumbria. Cruse is run entirely by volunteers and is dependent on fund raising to continue to operate.
It costs £30,000 a year to maintain the service in Cumbria, spent primarily on providing volunteers with training, administration and travel expenses.
